SUEZ and Ventia have engaged idec to design and construct a new soil processing facility at SUEZ’s landfill site at Dandenong South. idec’s scope of works includes: Engineering design Concrete works and precast panels Structural steel Cladding Building services Works on site have commenced, with construction due for completion in early 2018.
Idec has been awarded the opportunity to Supply and Installation of two(2) Acoustic structures and Enclosures for the new Sydney Metro project for John Holland CPB Ghella Joint Venture. Our scope includes engineering design, fabrication (utilising our built-up plate capability), rigging and acoustic cladding design and installation. idec has already commenced the design and
idec were recently awarded the engineering, fabrication and construction of two school shade covers for Alexandra state high school and Crestmead state school. Our scope includes design, engineer, fabricate and construct of two court shade covers. idec is working with the department of education on this project due for completion late 2017.

idec is currently working with Nova and Hendsolt to design and construct nine (9) fixed base Air Traffic Control and Surveillance Towers at Defence sites around Australia. Radars will be installed on idec towers between 12m and 25m tall at Oakey, Amberley, Townsville, Darwin, Tindal, Pearce, East Sale, Nowra and Williamtown. The Townsville and Darwin
idec were recently awarded the detailing, fabrication and installation of several buildings at the RAAF Base at Ambereley. Our scope includes 180t of structural steel over 3 new buildings and the refurbishment of a number of aged trusses in an aircraft hangar. We have utilised 3D scanning technology to scan the trusses due to be refurbished.
PROJECT WIN idec is currently undertaking the replacement of three reservoir roofs for Gold Coast City Council at Parkwood, Worongary and Tallai. The tanks measure an impressive 37m, 61m and 33m in diameter respectively. Our scope of work includes; Removal of the existing roofs including sub structures Survey, design and manufacture of new roof structures
