idec were recently awarded the detailing, fabrication and installation of several buildings at the RAAF Base at Ambereley. Our scope includes 180t of structural steel over 3 new buildings and the refurbishment of a number of aged trusses in an aircraft hangar. We have utilised 3D scanning technology to scan the trusses due to be refurbished.
In July, idec installed the first of three link bridges for Lend Lease at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, linking the Facilities Management Centre and the Main Hospital Building.
