idec were recently awarded the detailing, fabrication and installation of several buildings at the RAAF Base at Ambereley. Our scope includes 180t of structural steel over 3 new buildings and the refurbishment of a number of aged trusses in an aircraft hangar. We have utilised 3D scanning technology to scan the trusses due to be refurbished.
