Snowy Hyrdo – Marica Shed

idec was engaged to Design and Construct a shed over the Marica snow surge shaft as part of the ongoing construction of Snowy Hydro 2.0. The custom-engineered building will facilitate 24-hour operations in all weather conditions. idec in-house capability enabled the full design, engineering, fabrication and erection of 280 tonnes of Australian steel in addition to cladding works.  Due to the time-sensitive nature of the project, idec was able to fast-track the pre-construction process to minimise impacts on the overall project timeline.
