idec has been awarded the structural steel detailing, fabrication, and erection of stairs, piers, and footbridge packages for Morningside Train Station’s Accessibility Upgrade.
Morningside Station is a commuter station located on the Cleveland Line between the Norman Park and Cannon Hill stations. The station has an annual patronage of approximately 777,000.
These upgrades promise a significant enhancement in accessibility for all customers, with a particular focus on catering to individuals with impaired mobility. Among the suite of improvements, the introduction of modern stairs and a state-of-the-art pedestrian footbridge equipped with lift access stands out. These modern additions are poised to revolutionize the accessibility experience, ensuring ease of movement for everyone.
idec is pleased to help deliver this magnificent project and thanks Laing O’Rourke and Queensland Rail for the opportunity to ensure that the Morningside Station Accessibility Upgrade is of the upmost quality.
