Yarrabee Mine Workshop

idec was engaged to design and construct a 59m (L) x 30m (W) x 19m (H) maintenance workshop was constructed to support the operations of the Yarrabee open cut coal mine in central Queensland.

idec’s scope of works was.

• Design, fabricate and install structural steel (195t)
• Cladding

The building was designed to allow CAT 793F and Komatsu 830E tip trucks to be serviced undercover with their buckets raised.
