Congratulations to idec Project Manager Stuart Curnow and the whole idec team on the completion of the Lawnton Aquatic Centre Grandstand for Moreton Bay Regional Council. This Design and Construct project for idec is a 1000 seat grandstand complete with disabled access, time keeping facilities and storage areas. The structure provides an impressive facility for the 100,000 plus guests to the aquatic centre every year.
idec engineered and built the structure to cantilever (using our built-up plate technology) over the bleachers for maximum visibility. An impressive landmark structure for future generations of casual and elite swimmers to enjoy.
